Upscale or downscale images to 720p, 1080p, 4K, or custom pixel dimensions.
Resolution is simply the number of pixels in your image. More pixels = more detail, larger file. Less pixels = faster loading, smaller file. This tool lets you change resolution to any standard or custom dimension instantly in your browser.
| Name | Pixels | Common Use |
|---|---|---|
| HD (720p) | 1280 × 720 | Basic web, email |
| Full HD (1080p) | 1920 × 1080 | Websites, social media |
| 2K (QHD) | 2560 × 1440 | High-res displays |
| 4K (UHD) | 3840 × 2160 | 4K TV, large print |
Downscaling always looks clean — you're removing pixels and the result is sharp. Upscaling invents new pixels using interpolation — results look smooth but don't add real detail that wasn't in the original. For critical print work, always start with the highest resolution source available.
